Werdegang

Since 2006 Elmer lives and works in Luxembourg. Areas of interest are: personality disorders, mood- and anxiety disorders, somatoform disorders, alcohol- and substance abuse and couples therapy. He participates as a trainer and supervisor in the schema therapy training programs in Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne and Dresden.

Schwerpunkte

Personal therapy and supervision for coaches and psychotherapists in English, Dutch, German and French.
Countertransference issues with difficult clients (understanding and learning how to manage personal emotional reactions and, if possible, using them to the benefit of the process and the client).

Psychopathology
For the ITP, Elmer offers courses in psychopathology. Together with Robert Stamboliev, he is working on the integration of Voice Dialogue and schema therapy.
